Reservationless Video Guide
Reservationless Video provides an on-demand solution allowing you to initiate a video conference call 24/7 without the need to make a reservation or rely on an operator.
Starting a Reservationless Video Call
- Give your participants the date and time of your video conference call, your ISDN or IP dial-in information and the Gatekeeper IP address for public IP registration*.
- *Successful registration with the video gatekeeper is required for public IP dialing.
- Give your participants your permanent meeting room ID and current conference code.
- At the specified time, dial your Reservationless dial-in number with your DTMF enabled remote.
- When prompted, and after enabling DTMF tones on your remote, enter your meeting room ID followed by #.
- When prompted, enter your conference code followed by #.
- When prompted, press * to identify yourself as the leader, then enter your leader PIN followed by #.
- Once you join as the leader, your conference will start. Whatever conference settings you specified for your meeting room will be enabled at this time.
Joining a Reservationless Video Call
- At the specified time, dial your Reservationless dial-in number with your DTMF-enabled remote.
- When prompted, and after enabling DTMF tones on your remote, enter your meeting room ID followed by #.
- When prompted, enter your conference code followed by #.
Add Reservationless-Plus Audio to your video profile*
- Add your Reservationless-Plus Toll Free number to your reservationless video profile, along with your pass code and leader PIN.
- Check the "Automatically dial out to ResPlus Audio" box (note that you can uncheck the box and your conference code information will remain in the profile).
- When you connect to your Reservationless Video account as a leader and the " Automatically dial out to ResPlus Audio" box is checked, your Reservationless-Plus Audio account will be automatically joined to the call (note that your DTMF remote will not be able to pass any tones to the Reservationless-Plus audio bridge, so in order to interact with your audio account you will need to dial in directly to that account with your touch-tone enabled phone)
*This feature is only available for our Reservationless-Plus Audio, and has not been tested with any other audio conferencing solution.
